In Q2 2024, the top five top-down games on iOS in the United States showed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Let's take a closer look at how these games fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Squad Busters from Supercell, launched at the end of May, saw its revenue peak at approximately $2.6M in its first week. This was followed by a gradual decline, ending June with around $1M. Downloads started strong at 3.8M in the launch week but dropped to about 146K by the end of June. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, starting at 2.8M and falling to 891K.

Brawl Stars, also from Supercell, demonstrated robust revenue figures, peaking at $4.8M in late April and maintaining strong performance through to the end of June with $3.9M. Downloads showed a high of 456K in early May, gradually decreasing to 258K by late June. The game maintained a stable base of active users, fluctuating between 4.7M and 6.5M during the quarter.

Block Blast！ by Hungry Studio saw consistent download numbers, rising steadily from 227K in early April to 334K by the end of June. The weekly active users also showed a healthy increase, moving from 1.1M to 1.3M over the same period.

MONOPOLY GO! from Scopely, Inc. had impressive revenue figures, peaking at $25.9M in early April, with fluctuations but maintaining strong performance, ending June at $18.7M. Downloads were relatively stable, ranging from 225K to 287K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users slightly decreased from 1.1M to 816K.

My Perfect Hotel by SayGames LTD experienced a gradual increase in revenue, reaching $110K by the end of June. Downloads also saw an upward trend, climbing from 121K in early April to 225K in late June. Weekly active users increased from 560K to 718K over the quarter.
